No longer at CCE/MEV
Well, it has been a very hard decision, but for personal and health reasons, I have resigned as a Leisure Travel Consultant with CruisingCo. and MouseEarVacations. I still LOVE travel and Disney and the cruising industry, but I need to focus on myself and home and family right now. Once things settle down, I am hoping to find another way to make a niche for myself in the travel industry. I've made several wonderful friends and have learned so much in the past year. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything! If you are interested in having someone help you with your vacation plans, I have several wonderful travel agent friends who would love to help you!!!

I really should be doing other things.
We are getting ready for our big trip, our "last hurrah vacation," as I like to call it, before Nicoley goes off to college in the Fall. We had decided on a Disney cruise, since the kids had never been on one and we knew that Dick and Jan would enjoy it also. And of course, (Mark and I thought to ourselves,) it would be kindof a waste to fly all the way down there for just a 4-night cruise! So we decided to tack on two and a half days at Disney World. One of the reasons I wanted to go is because I am dying to see the castle all lit up in icicle lights! I've seen pictures, and it is GORGEOUS! Plus, I've never been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), so I need to (as a Disney Destination specialist) do the research for myself and find out what it's all about! :D
I invited Lee Ellen, one of the ladies who trained with me in my CCE class, another Disney fanatic, to join us during our 3 days at WDW. I thought it would be fun for her to be able to see the "frozen castle," as she is fond of calling it, and knew that she is always up for a trip to Disney World, so she is meeting us there. We're going to have a blast. I can't wait.
Ok, so I need to get all of my paperwork together and organized in my Passporter notebook, so I am going to close up this blog for now, and do what I need to be doing. I am so EASILY distractible!!!

Always busy!
I kind of forgot I had this blog! I've been SO busy! I have a new job as a travel agent--been so busy learning the ropes. It has been fun, and I have learned so much! I've been working on quotes for the past 4 weeks--I spend most of every day on the computer! Fortunately, the test quotes will end pretty soon. Then I can get down to the business of, well, growing my business! The one bad thing about learning about all of these great vacations, is that I want to experience them all for myself! They all look so amazing!

I worry too much...
Worry, worry, worry; fret, fret, fret.
That's me. Drives me crazy sometimes, well lots of the time.
In some ways it is helpful, like making sure the i's get dotted, and the t's get crossed.
Other times, all it does is occupy my mind with things that should not concern me, at least not at this moment. And by filling up my brain with worrisome thoughts, I don't leave enough room for the good and productive ones. I guess I need to better learn the art of distraction.
